Maggi Hambling
Maggi Hambling is a household name in British art. She was the first Artist in Residence at The National Gallery and has work in major museum collections worldwide, including Australian National Gallery, Gulbenkian Foundation Lisbon, National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, TATE, V&A and Yale Center for British Art.
We are delighted to be showing two new silkscreen portraits by Maggi Hambling.
Born in Suffolk in 1945, Maggi Hambling currently lives and works in London and Suffolk.
MAGGI HAMBLING THE WORKS and Conversations with Andrew Lambirth was published by Unicorn Press in January 2006, and will be for sale during the exhibition.
